How to stay productive after work - 10 minutes rule

Getting Started Is Everything(http://lifehacker.com/5892576/getting-started-is-everything)

Convince yourself to spend ten minutes on my project. Just ten minutes. Enough time for you to accomplish one small task. Then, after that ten minutes is up, you can go to your other activities.

Author writes:
"Getting started is everything, and once I've accomplished one small task, I'm ready (and excited) to tackle another. And another. And that's how, instead of wasting my night on TV that I'm not that into, I actually get something done."

How to stay productive after work insigths, part 1

How to be productive after work?
Last week I have went throug some websites.
I have found some tips:

On the page www.lifehacker.com How To Stay Productive After Work
(http://lifehacker.com/5921271
/how-to-stay-productive-after-work)

1. Get Started As Soon As You Get Home

Whether it's a few minutes or an hour, getting started as soon as you get home and
you're still in work mode goes a long way.

For me, body in motion tends to stay in motion, body at rest
tends to stay at rest. If I want to get something done after
work, I need to keep moving and not sit down and rest until
I'm ready to call it day. For me at least, I literally avoid
sitting down when i get home if there are other things I
want to get done. Once I sit down, the odds me getting the
next thing accomplished get cut in half.

2. Get Out Of the House - I find this advice great

Give Yourself 10 Minutes. Just 10 Minutes
Lifehacker Editor-in-Chief
Adam Pash gives himself 10
minutes in the evening to work
on his pet projects
sometimes more, never less. If
he can drag himself off the
couch for 10 minutes of focused
work, that's a success—and at
the end of that 10 minutes, if he
feels like working some more,
he does. If he feels like closing
up shop and going back to the
couch, he does. The important
thing here is that he makes
himself get started, and even on
those nights when he doesn't
feel like doing anything, he at least gets 10 minutes of progress
towards his goals

3. Make Sure You Get Some Exercise
Want more energy, or more hours in your day? Exercise. It may seem
counterintuitive, but exercise is key. Even a walk around the block will
make you feel energized, and the benefits grow with more regular and
frequent activity. Reader Ben Bond summed it up nicely

4. Schedule It and Keep It in the Front of Your Mind - PLAN is SUCCESS!!!
If you use some energy earlier in the day scheduling and thinking
about your projects, it'll be easier to respond to an alarm or a beeping
phone later in the day and go to work.

5. Forgive Yourself When you Stumble
Finally, realize that you won't be productive every night. Some nights
you'll stay on the couch, and others you'll just forget to do what you
meant to do. That's okay—forgive yourself and pick up again the next
day. Remember, productivity isn't everything, and if you beat yourself

Yes, do not get stressed if you don't accomplish evertything you planned. You will do it when you find time next days.

Some advices from weekplan.net:
http://weekplan.net/how-i-stay-productive-after-work/

Take a cold shower

Have plenty of rest

Go sleep before midnight and wake up about 6:30. That's what I am desiring to.

I also do a lot of activities that require me to focus. Although it is
hard to 100% switch off from work sometimes, my hobbies and
activities help me think of something else and they act like mini
holidays. When it is time to work on my projects again, I am
actually eager to do it because I have been “held back” by my other
activities.

4. I have a vision
This may sound corny but I think that having a goal that is bigger
than just making money helps me put in a little extra effort. It
makes the “sacrifices” worth it.
